Design Thinking is a creative problem solving approach that will enable Roxbury students to build skills for innovating, including the ability to think creatively, work collaboratively with others, solve problems, and implement innovations. It provides a structured framework and process for addressing challenges in all aspects of our lives. The Hasso Plattner Institute of Design at Stanford University (“the d.school”), has refined the Design Thinking process so as to help develop young innovators and resourceful lifelong learners.  Students will use the Design Thinking framework to solve real-world problems and learn and implement skills that will assist them throughout life and their careers through partnerships in and out of school.
