RHS Design Thinking 

Students start to think about prototyping with others in mind.  One activity this week was one that focused on student reflection. Students are given a problem, have students develop as many possible solutions with the goal of 50. 

• Students start individually, then to small groups, then as a class

• Questions asked to students are similar to: 

  • How would Walt Disney solve this problem?

  • What if _____ didn’t exist? (gravity, laws of physics, space restraints)

  • What could have caused the problem?

  • What is the worst possible idea you can come up with?

  • What if this took place in the 1960s? The 2030s?

  • What assumptions have you made?
