RHS Design Thinking 

This week the class focused on understanding the person or group that a student is designing a solution or product for, and how to ensure that the right questions are asked.  The teacher discussed the concepts of the user, need, and insight. The focus is on developing a really good problem statement that will help guide the designers in their tasks.

The class also focused on "empathy mapping" and how empathy mapping helps unlock important concepts about the focus of the design. The process of empathy mapping human centers the problem before students focus on "solving a problem of things."
