Chapter 2 Podcast

Chapter 3: Summary

Students in our class have become very comfortable using tools and machines to safely process materials in our Structural Design & Fabrication lab. Over the last few weeks students have worked together to build wall panels according to wall call outs developed by John Stromberg, a Morris Habitat for Humanity volunteer. Students have learned key framing terminology, how to interpret architectural drawings and how to use a variety of power tools and hand tools to create each wall section. Students are looking forward to longer class sessions to allow for more lessons and more work time as we continue to progress forward with our project.
